WELCOME!

Tami Melissa Photography is actually a soon-to-be husband and wife team – Ryan & Tami. We met right after high school and we’ve been best friends ever since. Our style of photography can best be described as photojournalistic with a modern appeal. We have a passion for the art of wedding photography and our inspiration comes from all of the heart-felt moments that take place throughout a wedding day. We love capturing the romance, playfulness, and unspoken connection between a bride and a groom.

We shoot weddings throughout Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia, but we are available for travel too! If you’re interested in talking with us about your wedding, engagement, or a fun session on the beach, please visit out website, www.TamiMelissaPhotography.com, and fill out the contact form.

We look forward to capturing the moments you’ve always dreamed of!

xoxo,
Ryan & Tami

Its Been Forever!

Okay, so I know I haven't posted anything on here in what seems like ages! BUT there is good reasoning...

A. Wedding Planning - I went to California in May to begin my wedding planning, and now everything is starting to get booked and planned and its been so much fun!

B. Vacation - I went on a cruise in June - will probably never go on one again - not a good experience for someone with motion sickness - plus, it rained the entire time - oh yeah, and I broke my pinkey toe! Joy! :)

C. In between all of that I've been doing some photography sessions and booking up some weddings for 2010, so needless to say, the business is keeping me busy and its going awesome!!

D. And finally, I am looking into creating a brand new beautiful blog (that I will actually keep up on!) I just have to find some time to design it! but once its up and running I'll post a link on here to it, so you can enjoy my new blog! And when it is launched I'm going to try to commit to blogging at least once a week!

Well, I'm hoping when I get home, the Service Agreement for my wedding venue will be in the mail!! Once the new blog is launched, I'll post up my wedding details along with my photography sessions and weddings! :) I hope all is well!

xoxo

Engaged on Valentine's Day

"When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible!"
- When Harry Met Sally

Did you get engaged on Valentine's Day?

Did you know that about 10% of all couples in the United States get engaged on Valentine's Day?

Who can deny the romantic feeling that is in the air around that time of the year?

We'd love to hear about your Valentine's Day proposal and help you to plan your photography for your engagement pictures as well as your wedding! The first 5 couples to email us at tamimelissaphoto@gmail.com with a story about their Valentine's Day engagement will receive 15% off a wedding package and we'll throw in an extra ½ hour and an 11x14 print to the engagement session (which is included in the wedding package)!

We look forward to working with you and capturing the moments you've always dreamed of!

Home is Where Your Story Begins...

RYAN AND I BOUGHT A HOUSE!! YAY! One year after Ryan asked me to marry him (January 13th), we took our relationship to the next level, and put an offer in on a house... and it was accepted!! Its an adorable cape cod in Barrington, NJ. The best part about it, is that we will be making an office for the business so that we'll actually be able to have people come to our office to sign papers, see samples, etc. We just had the inspection yesterday, and it went better than expected! We just have to wait until February 27th for settlement... We can't wait to move all our stuff in! Its going to be so awesome to really start our lives together!

"A house is made of walls and beams,
a home is made of love and dreams."

It's Finally Over! (And some good news!)

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the one who'll decide where to go.”
-Dr. Seuss

So, after 3 long years at Camden County College getting my Associates degree, and 2 1/2 years at Rowan University... I am now a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management! I have gone through so much to finally get this degree! Classes being cancelled... Professors changing the times and dates of classes... Boring classes... Fun classes... Classes with really great friends... Classes with groups where I had to be the one to do all the work... My only problem with it all is that there is one thing college really doesn't teach you: how to survive in the "Real World." Lay offs... Friendships... Break-Ups... Bad Economy... Horrible Co-workers... Great co-workers... Mean Bosses... Friendly Bosses... Nothing really gets you ready for what its really like out there... You really have to just suck it up, and go for it!

Well... the good news... I am no longer un-employed! Starting on January 5th, I am going to be an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager of ACR Image Metrix, a division of the American College of Radiology!! I am so excited to take this next step in my life towards a better job at a better employer with a much brighter future!!! They say everything happens for a reason, and I am definitely a true believer in that!!! YAY me!!
